Put Something Back kicked off its summer series with a presentation at The LAB Miami on Copyright Trolls in partnership with the DCBA Intellectual Property Committee on June 11. The panel was moderated by Jaime Vining, Chair, DCBA Intellectual Property Committee and included Mark Stein, Esq., Geoffrey Lottenberg, Esq., and John Eagan, Esq.
Dade Legal Aid, a nonprofit legal firm for low-income residents in Miami Dade, handles family law, domestic violence, housing, guardianship, child advocacy, and bankruptcy, along with pro bono referrals to attorneys in all areas of the law including intellectual property, patent and probate. Put Something Back: a Pro Bono initiative to pair pre-screened clients with attorneys who come from small and big firms, clinics, law schools – no matter their firm or focus, Put Something Back welcomes lawyers who want to help.
