HELP SUPPORT OUR VETERANS
Help support our Veterans by participating in Mission United Food Drive Operation, a safe and socially distant event where we will join forces to prepare and deliver non-perishable food packages to Veterans living in Miami-Dade housing complexes for Veterans Day. Donations are also needed for Thanksgiving baskets for our Veterans.*
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6: Please donate non-perishable canned proteins, i.e., canned chicken, tuna, Spam, Vienna sausage, peanut butter, meat soups, stews, chili, canned fruits, juices, soaps, and toiletries, and help organize, sort, and pack grocery bags.
DONATIONS: Please drop off items on Friday 11.6 between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the United Way Miami-Dade Empowerment Building, 3195 SW 3 Avenue, Miami.
DELIVERY: Volunteers needed to help deliver groceries on November 12.

*THANKSGIVING BASKETS: MISSION UNITED will be providing Thanksgiving baskets for 115 Veterans in need. We are collecting non-perishable items for our Veterans. THANKSGIVING ITEMS NEEDED: cranberry sauce, stuffing, cornbread mix, canned greens, canned corn, box cakes. THANKSGIVING ITEMS MUST BE DROPPED OFF BY 11/16.
