Request from 11th Circuit Delegation to Florida Bar Board of Governors

Dear Fellow Florida Bar Member:

We realize how busy we all are as practitioners, but as your 11th Circuit Delegation to The Florida Bar Board of Governors, we respectfully ask you to join us in addressing the crisis of the unprecedented legal needs of our community’s downtrodden by helping Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back by emailing psb@dadelegalaid.org.

We encourage you to volunteer your time and resources with “Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back,” the Official Pro Bono Program of the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida. If you already participate, now is the time to increase your involvement in the program, which has decades of experience providing busy attorneys, law firms, corporate counsel, government and public interest attorneys rewarding and significant pro bono opportunities to work on behalf of vulnerable children, foster teens, veterans, the disabled, domestic violence victims, the elderly, newcomers, nonprofits and individuals facing eviction, foreclosure, bankruptcy and other critical legal matters. During these challenging economic times, “Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back www.dadelegalaid.org continues to be a beacon of hope in our community and needs our help now.

We took an oath to “never reject the cause of the defenseless or oppressed or delay anyone’s cause for lucre or malice.” Please renew that promise now by contacting “Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back” and taking a case. Some of the many rewards you will receive include trial experience, free CLE, malpractice coverage, reduced costs, mentors, research assistance, plus the personal satisfaction of giving back to those in dire need.
