Congratulations to Dade Legal Aid Staff Attorney Alexa Philossaint, Esq. who received the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Excellence in Service Award at the organization’s 39th Annual Scholarship, Awards, and Installation Banquet. The award, named in honor of Gwendolyn S. Cherry, a trailblazing attorney and first Black woman to serve in the Florida Legislature, recognized Alexa’s outstanding contributions to the legal profession and unwavering commitment to community service.
