Dade Legal Aid welcomed Class VIII of its Leadership Academy

On Thursday, September 12, Dade Legal Aid welcomed Class VIII of its Leadership Academy at an after-hours reception at Batch in Brickell. “The distinguished class of fellows will partake in a year-long program designed to further innovative leadership skills, interpersonal relationships, and a deeper understanding of issues facing marginalized members of the community,” said Karen Ladis, Director. Throughout 2024-2025, Class VIII will connect with renowned South Florida attorneys, the judiciary, and others dedicated to improving the lives of those less fortunate. Through a variety of opportunities, fellows will foster lasting relationships and an even greater commitment to service and professionalism.
