1 – A Spanish-speaking pro bono attorney is needed to serve as an Attorney ad Litem for a 2‑year‑old child with autism. The next hearing is scheduled for March 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., regarding the status of the child’s AAL appointment. This is a section 39.01305 case.
2 – The client needs legal assistance with credit card debt collection lawsuits due to failure to pay the debts owed. She is being sued by Discover (now through Capital One due to a merger and acquisition). Pertinent court case information, along with the client’s contact information, will be provided upon acceptance of the case for pro bono representation.
3 – A client, an inventor, needs an Intellectual Property attorney to review his idea and help apply for a patent. Details will be provided upon acceptance of this matter.
4 – Elderly client needs legal assistance with the removal of a water filtration system that was installed in her home. Client states that she did not want the installation but was pressured into it by the company. Upon installation, the company charged her over $5,000 as is demanding payment. Client believes that this is fraud.
5 – Client needs legal assistance regarding her money back from a company due to incomplete services. Clients needed impact windows and doors in her home. The company is no longer in business, and the client there are broken/unfinished items in her home due to the incomplete work. The client does not know what else to do in order to get the doors fixed or request a refund for the incomplete work.
6 – Client needs legal assistance regarding a contract dispute. The client entered into an agreement with Renew Financial under the PACE program to do a bathroom remodel and plumbing repair on client’s home. Client believes that the contractor added unauthorized additions/services, and the services that have been rendered are incomplete.
7 – Elderly client living off of Social Security needs legal assistance with a contract dispute. The client was advised of a grant program to pay for an AC unit and roof upgrade to her home. Client contracted for a central air unit, and the company has placed a split unit in her home. Client has requested many times for the company to fix the situation, and they have not finished the job. When the client stated that she would not make payments due to the incomplete services, the company stated that they would place a lien on her home. To date, no lien has been placed, but the client desperately needs legal assistance because the company has not finished the work.
8 – Client needs legal assistance with liens on her property that were a result for a contract issue with a grant program for solar panels. The client entered into a loan contract for the panels with the LoanPal/GoodLeap program. As per the original terms, the program would use the client’s taxes as the method of repayment. By the time the client realized that the arrangement had not be upheld, the original loan was sold to Truist Bank. Client stated that both companies have placed a lien against her property. Client would like to know what to do have them removed since she had made payments on the loan.
