Sonia Rodricks grew up in South Florida and graduated early from both high school and college. After working for Fortune 500 companies, Ms. Rodricks’ ambition and nurturing demeanor lead her to open a tutoring business where she made a difference in the lives of countless students across South Florida. After helping students to achieve their dreams, she decided to embark on her own dream of pursuing a career in law and enrolled in law school.
Ms. Rodricks received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Florida International University and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. During law school, she participated as a senior editor on the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law, and was a semi-finalist in the NSU Trial Association. She was also a proud member of the First Generation Legal Society, Phi Alpha Delta, Toastmasters, and a student member of the Broward County Bar Association. At Dade Legal Aid, she is focusing on the Heirs’ Protection Project and spends time working with the Financial Literacy Workshops, Community Education, Outreach and anywhere else needed!
