The Family Law Department of Dade Legal Aid assists low-income residents in family law matters in areas including Initial Filing of Divorce, Paternity cases, and Temporary Relative Custody cases. The department does not handle modifications, re-opening of cases, or post judgement matters. To be eligible, clients must meet our requirements and provide all relevant documents, identification, proof of residency of Miami-Dade County and proof of income.
