Put Something Back Pro Bono Project is dedicated to screening and matching low-income clients with pro bono attorneys experienced in a wide range of legal matters. PSB assists with bankruptcy, collection, consumer, contracts, deeds, domestic violence, family, guardian ad litem, insurance, probate, real property, will drafting and other civil matters. To be eligible, a client’s income may not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, cases may not be fee-generating, traffic cases, or an emergency, and you may not be suing someone for money. An organization may qualify for free assistance if it serves primarily eligible clients.
PSB, a partnership with the Courts and Bar, provides a clearinghouse of cases and opportunities for volunteer attorneys in Miami-Dade County. Since 1991, the program has recruited attorneys and law firms to handle thousands of cases.
Individuals may apply online or call 305-579-5733 ext. 2222 to see if you qualify for a free attorney.
