Guardianship Attorney
Adriana Salazar serves as a Staff Attorney within the Guardianship Department at Dade Legal Aid. Before joining the organization, she focused on civil litigation involving first and third-party property matters. Adriana graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2023, earning recognition as a Dean’s Scholar and making the Dean’s list. Her dedication to pro bono work led to her receiving the Pro-Bono Award for completing over 130 hours of service. Additionally, she was honored with the Hispanic National Bar Association VIA Scholarship.
During her time in law school, Adriana gained practical experience as a Student Attorney in the Community Lawyering Clinic. Through this role, she actively participated in the FIU Embrace Law Project, where she assisted with guardianships, wills, and powers of attorney. Adriana's commitment to serving low-income communities drives her passion for applying her legal knowledge to make a meaningful impact.
