Amanda Diaz, Esq., Domestic Violence Attorney

Amanda Diaz serves as a Staff Attorney in the Domestic Violence Department at Dade Legal Aid where she passionately advocates for individuals and families facing domestic violence and sexual assault.  Ms. Diaz graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2023, earning recognition as a Dean’s Scholar and making the Dean’s list. During her time in law school, Ms. Diaz gained practical experience as a Student Attorney in the Death Penalty Clinic and as and Intern in the Domestic Violence Unit of the Public Defender’s Miami Office.  Her dedication to pro bono work led to her receiving the Pro Bono Award for completing over 130 hours of service at FIU Law. She also graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, earning Dean's List and Graduating Cum Laude. A resident of Miami for most of her life, Ms. Diaz is fluent in Spanish and English, and is a member of  both The Florida Bar and Miami-Dade County Bar Association.
