Ms. Bonner is a 2008 graduate from the University of Miami School of Law where she was a Dean's Merit Scholar and received recognition for her achievements in Litigation Skills and Advanced Evidence. Upon graduation, she worked as a Public Defender in the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Officer where she tried over 40 cases to verdict. Prior to joining Legal Aid, Ms. Bonner worked in the Dependency Division of the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counse and in private practice. Ms. Bonner is an active member of the Miami Dade Bar Association and numerous organizations, serving on the Miami-Dade Bar's Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Family and Juvenile Courts Committees and on the Children's Courthouse Reunification Recognition Committee. She was recognized as an Outstanding 40 Under 40 Lawyer by the Miami Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section and South Florida Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and received the Miami Dade Bar Circle of Excellence Award for Government Attorney. Ms. Bonner has spoken on numerous occasions on Family Law, Dependency, Human Trafficking, Case Updates, and the Intersection of Family and Bankruptcy Law. As a dedicated staff attorney, she offers services to a variety of low-income clients and staffs the Law Library Legal Clinic.  Ms. Bonner graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.  She is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York, and Georgia.
