Family Law
Legal Aid helps with the initial filing of a Divorce, Paternity and Visitation cases for low-income residents of Miami-Dade. Client must have physical custody of their minor child(ren) and be a resident of Miami-Dade County to initially qualify for services. Domestic Violence
Legal Aid accepts applications from victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Dating Violence and Stalking, seeking legal advice, Temporary Orders of Protection, and/or Final Orders of Protection. Guardianship

Put Something Back "PSB"
A referral service of Dade Legal Aid and the Eleventh Judicial Circuit for indigent clients unable to be served by our staff or another program. Refers civil legal matters on issues such as Consumer, Collection, Bankruptcy, Eviction, Immigration, Real Estate, Probate, Deeds, Liens, Foreclosure, Name Change, Divorce, Venture Law, Incorporation, Guardianship, Non-Profit, Taxation and Wills. REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible, client’s income may not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. All clients must provide all relevant documents, identification, proof of residency of Miami-Dade County and proof of income. If you have applied and have additional questions please call 305-579-5733.
An organization may qualify for free services if its purpose is to serve eligible clients or is primarily comprised of eligible clients. Dade Legal Aid works with multiple service providers in the community to provide a safety net of services in all areas of civil law.
