Put Something Back “PSB,” a partnership with the Courts and Bar, recruits volunteer attorneys to handle civil cases for qualifying low-income residents in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. PSB pre-screens clients for financial eligibility, case type and merit then matches qualifying clients with volunteer attorneys who agree to accept their case.

Dade Legal Aid assists qualifying low-income residents with a variety of uncontested and contested family matters: divorce (uncontested and contested), paternity, custody, adoption, name change, support and visitation for low-income individuals meeting federal poverty guidelines. Free legal services to qualifying indigent residents seeking to serve as guardians for elderly, physically and/or mentally incapacitated family members, loved ones and/or close friends ages 21-110. In addition to assisting multi-generational residents, services are also provided to the population of medically fragile youth aging out of foster care.
For those facing collections, foreclosures, and bankruptcies, we provide pro bono referrals for qualifying clients throughout the Southern District of Florida (from the Florida Keys to Fort Pierce) as well as telephone consults and referrals to clinics. Non-profit groups serving low-income clients may apply for pro bono corporate, in house, and transactional attorneys to handle general legal matters, incorporation, obtain tax exempt status from the IRS or serve as general counsel. We accept requests from qualifying agencies and startups and pair them with pro bono counsel to serve as their attorney. Attorneys are available to answer your questions through Put Something Back and in partnership with Arts Business Council, Inc. and the Association of Corporate Counsel America.
