Our Venture Law Project offers free legal services to emerging artists, arts groups, early-stage entrepreneurs, and nonprofits in South Florida. The program aims to support the local entrepreneurial community by providing access to knowledgeable pro bono attorneys. Applicants are screened individually, and if accepted, will be matched with an attorney through our collaboration with Put Something Back, the Arts Business Council, Inc., and the Association of Corporate Counsel America. The program covers various legal topics to help participants establish a solid foundation for their ventures. To apply, submit a completed application along with a budget and financial documents to verify individual income for all officers, as well as for the corporation. Applications are confidential and assessed for eligibility, case merit, and goals. Note that acceptance is not guaranteed, and misrepresentation, missed appointments, or exceeding income limits may lead to rejection. You will represent yourself until a volunteer attorney agrees to take your case. To apply, please click on the button(s) below. If you need assistance, please contact the receptionist at 305-579-5733 ext. 2222.
Please mail completed application and documents to Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back, 28 West Flagler Street, Suite 608, Miami, Florida 33130 or email to jnapoles@dadelegalaid.org.
