Put Something Back Pro Bono Project (“PSB”)

A Referral Service for Qualifying Low-Income Residents of Miami-Dade County

What is “Put Something Back”?

Put Something Back is a referral service dedicated to screening and matching low-income clients with volunteer lawyers in a wide range of civil legal matters. To be eligible, a client’s income may not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, cases may not be fee-generating, traffic cases, or an emergency, and you may not be suing someone for money. Being eligible for the program does not mean that an attorney will take the case.

PSB, a partnership with the Courts and Bar, provides a clearinghouse of cases and opportunities for volunteer attorneys in Miami-Dade County. Since 1991, the program has recruited attorneys and law firms to handle thousands of cases for low-income residents with nowhere else to turn to for assistance.

Individuals may apply online or call 305-579-5733 ext. 2222 to see if you qualify for a free attorney.
