Ms. LLaguno-Feria embarked on her legal career at Dade Legal Aid in 2004 as a Certified Legal Intern through St. Thomas University School of Law Family Law Clinic. For over 20 years, she has zealously represented low-income residents in need of civil legal services with nowhere else to turn to for assistance. During her law school internship at Legal Aid, Mrs. Llaguno-Feria represented countless domestic violence victims at their Injunctions for Protection Against their abusers in Domestic Violence hearings under the supervision of a staff attorney.
In 2006, upon graduation from law school, she joined the agency as a Family Law Attorney where she has successfully represented thousands of clients, including victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, ever since. Her practice areas include complex Dissolution of Marriage, Paternity, Temporary Relative Custody, and Time-Sharing cases. As Managing Attorney of the Family Law department, she is responsible for supervising, training, mentoring and supporting all staff attorneys, pro bono attorneys and law student interns, Certified Legal Interns, Summer Fellows and Law School Fellows throughout the year. Mrs. Llaguno-Feria is a dedicated member of The Florida Bar, Family Law Section, Miami-Dade County Bar, Family Court Committee, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and Coral Gables Bar and is fluent in Spanish.
