Ms. Robbins is the Managing Attorney of the Guardianship and Elder Law Department where she oversees the growing practice focusing on the areas of Probate, Guardianship, Elder Law, Administrative Law, Appeals, and Disability Law. In addition to handling a broad caseload, she supervises multiple attorneys, offices and projects, including the Heirs Protection Project, Standby Guardian, Guardian Advocacy and Foster Youth Guardianship Projects. A certified NITA instructor, she lectures and trains locally, statewide and nationally.
During law school, she was a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow in the summer of 1996. Prior to joining Dade Legal Aid in 1998, Ms. Robbins practiced civil litigation in Lake Worth. She is a 1997 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and is member of the Iron Arrow Honor Society, the highest honor attainable at University of Miami. She is the 2016 Recipient of the Robert L. Shevin Public Service Award.
