Ms. LLaguno-Feria embarked on her legal career at Dade Legal Aid in 2004 as a Certified Legal Intern through the St. Thomas University School of Law Family Law Clinic. During her law school internship, Ms. Llaguno-Feria represented domestic violence victims at their Injunctions for Protection Against their abusers in Domestic Violence hearings under the supervision of a staff attorney. In 2006, upon graduation from law school, she joined the agency as a Family Law Attorney and for over 20 years, she has continued to zealously represent qualifying low-income residents in need of civil legal services with nowhere else to turn to for assistance. Her practice includes complex Dissolution of Marriage, Paternity, Temporary Relative Custody, and Time-Sharing cases and she has successfully represented thousands of clients, including victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. In her role as Managing Attorney of Legal Aid's Family Law department, she oversees client intake, case management, and attorney and staff training and professional development. In addition to supervising a growing team of family law attorneys, secretaries, Certified Legal Interns, Summer Fellows and Law School Fellows, she handles a full caseload. Ms. Llaguno-Feria is an active member of The Florida Bar, The Family Law Section, The Miami-Dade Bar, The Family Court Committee, and the Coral Gables Bar Association. She is fluent in Spanish.
