A 2004 graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law, Steven G. Paulson has been representing victims of domestic violence since 2005. As Senior Supervising Attorney in Dade Legal Aid's Domestic Violence Department, he trains, mentors and supervises domestic violence attorneys, staff, and law students. A highly regarded leader in the field, he participates in numerous outreach programs throughout Miami-Dade County to train service providers, victim advocates, and police officers. He is a Past-President of the South Miami-Kendall Bar Association and remains actively involved in bar activities. In addition to supervising staff, his practice includes handling a high-volume of cases specializing in the areas of Domestic Violence and Family Law matters. Mr. Paulson has represented thousands of clients in numerous bench trials, representing victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Dating Violence and Repeat Violence in Permanent Restraining Order hearings. In his free time, he is a talented musician and manages a local band, Crazy Talk, and is also a pilot.
